The Bimhuis places Amsterdam clearly on the map as a leading European jazz city, regularly welcoming acclaimed domestic and international acts from the jazz and improvisation scenes.
Jazz and improvising musicians
Jazz and improvising musicians from home and abroad perform in the concert hall. The largest Dutch jazz prize, the Boy Edgar Prize, is awarded annually. There are regularly free sessions.
