You can drink water from tap everywhere in the Netherlands. And it is much cheaper than buying bottled water in the supermarket.

In the Netherlands, there are no mandatory social or written guidelines regarding tipping restaurant workers. Nevertheless, it is customary to offer a modest tip, typically around 5-10% of the total bill.

From late April to early May, Amsterdam showcases the vibrant beauty of blooming tulips. The warmest months in the city are July and August, with average temperatures reaching around 22 °C (or 71,6 °F). As a general rule, the winter months, typically from November to March, offer the most affordable time to visit Amsterdam.
