General

The amsterdam&partners Foundation (Stichting amsterdam&partners) is working hard to comply with the guidelines set out in the European Accessibility Act (EAA). We believe it is important to make our online content and services accessible to everyone.

Research results

The amsterdam&partners Foundation commissioned an audit to determine whether the website and mobile application meet the accessibility requirements (WCAG 2.2 level A and AA). The findings were as follows:

  • Website: www.iamsterdam.com meets 37 out of 55 success criteria for digital accessibility.
  • The I amsterdam City Card mobile application meets 31 out of 49 success criteria applicable to mobile applications.

  • Single-character keyboard shortcuts

Follow-up

The issues identified in the audits will be addressed during a development sprint in the summer of 2025. After that, a new audit will be conducted. Based on the results, the accessibility statement will be updated accordingly.

Measures to improve accessibility

The amsterdam&partners Foundation is taking the following measures to improve compliance with accessibility requirements:

  • An annual WCAG 2.2 A and AA audit is carried out for both the website and the app. We resolve the identified issues.
  • Our editorial team checks all content for accessibility before publication and performs regular interim checks.
  • Our staff keep their knowledge of accessibility up to date and apply it where necessary.

PDF files

Accessibility guidelines impose strict requirements on PDF documents. We are continuously working to make our PDF documents accessible. If you experience issues with an inaccessible PDF, please contact us at: toegankelijkheid@iamsterdam.com.
