Red Light Jazz Festival

On 6, 7 and 8 June, Red Light Jazz will be organised for the 12th time in succession in and around the warm heart of Amsterdam. The Red Light District will be taken over by (jazz) musicians of various kinds for three days. Since the first edition in 2014, the multi-day jazz festival in the capital has developed into a major event that brings together Amsterdammers and visitors from home and abroad to enjoy the many performances together. In 2025, the Grachtenfestival will return to Amsterdam for the 28th edition. At the Grachtenfestival everything starts with music. Young musicians from all over the world surprise you with their own musical stories. With more than 95 locations, the Grachtenfestival will again be present this year in all parts of Amsterdam, with many free neighborhood concerts, but also at unique locations such as the Royal Palace on Dam Square, the ARTIS Planetarium and Fabrique des Lumières. This ensures that the Canal Festival always continues to innovate and allows visitors to (re)discover the city.

Posthoornkerk - Church

Built by P.J.H. Cuypers – the famous architect responsible for Amsterdam’s Central Station and Rijksmuseum – in 1863, the Posthoornkerk (Post Horn Church) is a transept basilica, meaning that the floor plan is laid out in the shape of a cross. The church features a cloverleaf-shared choir and two tiers of galleries.

NedPhO-Koepel

The NedPhO-Koepel is located in the Indische Buurt, a musical hotspot just a few minutes walk from Amsterdam Muiderpoort station. The Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra/Netherlands Chamber Orchestra rehearses here for concerts in the Concertgebouw and De Nationale Opera. Be welcome at free public rehearsals and surprising (children's) concerts.
