Manu – De Herontdekking van de Hemel
In 'De Herontdekking van de Hemel' (The Rediscovery of Heaven), writer and performer Manu van Kersbergen explores the power of language in a world that is increasingly fragmenting. From the perspective of a father attempting to explain to his children what is happening around them, he weaves together personal stories with themes such as racism, conflict, and identity. The production was nominated for a Theo d'Or and the Annie M.G. Schmidt Prize, and was included in the official selection of both the Dutch and Flemish Theatre Juries. An award-winning theatre debut about the power and failure of language by spoken word artist and live band at Bimhuis.
