Dave Douglas Quartet - Four Freedoms
'Freedom of speech, freedom of worship. Freedom from want, freedom from fear': these four freedoms were proclaimed in 1941 by American president Roosevelt. On his new album 'Four Freedoms', Dave Douglas shows that music can reflect these freedoms, and this American giant on trumpet, famous for his collaborations with Tom Waits, John Zorn and many others, presents his new quartet at Bimhuis.
