Behind the facades of three stately and centuries-old canal houses on the Keizersgracht, is the largest hidden church in the Netherlands. This unique hidden church offers a programma of debate and lectures.
Rode Hoed
Lectures and debate
On the Rode Hoed stage, debate alternates with exploratory conversations, always in a safe and constructive atmosphere. The Rode Hoed continues to build on its past as a safe haven: the oldest hidden church in Amsterdam has offered Remonstrants freedom of thought since the 17th century. In the 21st century, the Rode Hoed, free from political or religious colour, continues to provide shelter for free thinking. The programming consists new perspectives, diverse paradigms and leading stage guests.
