Dam tot Damloop

From Amsterdam to Zaandam

Every year, around 35,000 participants participate in the Dam tot Damloop. It is the largest running event of its kind in the Netherlands with 10 Miles (16.1 km) from the heart of Amsterdam to Zaandam. The youngest sports enthusiasts have also been thought of: children between 4 and 12 can run a distance of 0.6 or 2.2 km with the Mini Dam tot Damloop.

Walking and cycling

If running isn't your thing, there are plenty of other events to take part in. The various activities take place during the weekend of the Dam tot Damloop. Cyclists can participate in different routes from 40 to 145 km long and is plenty of entertainment for both participants and spectators.
