Grachtenfestival Amsterdam
In 2024, Grachtenfestival will return to Amsterdam for it's 27th edition, where everything starts with music. Enjoy performances as young musicians from around the world surprise you with their musical stories. The new theme is not yet known, but harpist Joost Willemze - the 2024 Artist in Residence - is already working on his plans for the next edition.

Music on the water
The music festival attracts many visitors every year. There are always many young, talented musicians on the program for whom the Grachtenfestival represents the next step in their careers. Approximately 200 concerts will unfold in countless remarkable locations across the city including churches, parks, gardens, living rooms, concert halls and, of course, on the Amsterdam canals.
Inspiring locations
About 30 locations will be the setting for various concerts - from classical music to jazz to music from international cultures. Past, present and future come together in contemporary combinations of musicians, genres and locations.
