Let's dance around with some impressive numbers... Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) brings 2,500 of the world's biggest and up-and-coming dance artists to play 450 events spread over 140 of Amsterdam's best clubs -- to provide five days of guaranteed partying for some 395,000 clubbers.

Meanwhile, ADE also works to unite the scene: bringing together music industry professionals, musicians, producers, VJs and artists at a massive music conference featuring hundreds of guest speakers.

Annual events

ADE Conference

Not just a festival, each year, the Amsterdam Dance Event presents the ADE Conference, with various streams and sessions covering every aspect of the music industry. Let’s get learning and networking, people!

ADE Hangover

ADE Hangover is all about chilling out! You’ll find a menu of tasty treats complete with a selection of bands, DJs, refreshing craft beers, hot tubs, market stalls for vinyl lovers, art installations, and even a fire to gather round. What’s more, it’s completely free and the perfect cure for throbbing heads everywhere. While cancelled for the 2020 edition, let’s hope it returns bigger and mellower than ever in 2021.

ADE Green

ADE Green engages with sustainability, innovation, and social change in the music industry through keynote speakers, panel and practical hands-on workshops – covering everything from circular water solutions to solar power stations to waste separation. Dance your way to a brighter future!

2020 highlights

ADE Online

Having come truly of age during the largely-online 2020 pandemic edition, ADE Online is the free immersive virtual experience, which features live streams of concerts and DJ sets, along with interactive workshops & masterclasses, artistic cross-overs, and an extensive film and documentary program – which you can now enjoy all year long

Minimal x Nxt Museum

With Minimal x Nxt Museum: ADE and the new media Nxt Museum joined forces in 2020 to fuse the worlds of modern electronic music and digital art. The daydreamy set by Boris Acket & Vincent Rang came backed by projections of icy and abstract forests and rock formations. Trippy.
