Conscious shopping in Amsterdam Noord

Cycle between social initiatives offering wonderful products that have a positive impact on society or the environment. From freshly laundered second-hand children’s clothing and gadgets for super sleuths, to organic vegetables from the Salvation Army’s own garden. For a well-earned, socially responsible break, settle down at a cosy cultural hotspot next to the water.

How to get there

With its first stop in Vogeldorp, the route continues through Amsterdam Noord (North) passing Tuindorp Buiksloot, then via the Noorder Park to Disteldorp, and finishing in the Van de Pek neighbourhood. Start the route at Amsterdam Central Station and take the ferry to IJplein. At the end of the route, return to Amsterdam Central Station via the ferry at the end of Buiksloterweg (Tolhuis garden).
