One of our focus points as amsterdam&partners is to be present where there is a need for guidance and information. We want to inspire and inform visitors aim to influence their perception (reputation) and behavior (distribution in time and space). We want to offer this not only in the I amsterdam Store or digitally via webcare, but also to visitors through so-called mobile hosts. By using mobile hosts, we want to enrich our services by being present at flexible locations, such as relevant places in the city center, during events and conferences.
The aim is to ensure that we can set up and embed this concept as efficiently as possible after a successful pilot. We would like to do this in accordance with the wishes and plans surrounding Amsterdam 750. The mobile hosts will then be deployed during major events surrounding the run-up to the city's birthday in 2024 and the festive year itself.
The first activity of the mobile host project was held on October 27, when we handed out 748 cakes in celebration of Amsterdam's birthday. We did this both in the I amsterdam Store and in the IJ-hall of Central Station. In the future, you’ll be able to spot us all around the city.
