Fort Ossenmarkt

Built-in 1861, the Ossenmarkt (Ox Market) Fort was once part of the Weesp Fortress and, therefore, also a functioning piece of the Defence Line of Amsterdam.

The Fort was renovated after the Second World War and continues to be used as a music school and office space for various unions and businesses; depending upon the time of the year, the Fort is also utilised for public activities for adults and children, such as special tours and exhibitions.
