Landgoed De Olmenhorst (Olmenhorst Estate) is a green oasis of apple and pear orchards that can be found in Lisserbroek, a village located between Amsterdam, Haarlem and Leiden. This historic estate is over 160 years old and specialises in organic products. Take a stroll through its lush orchard or enjoy a meal or high tea on the terrace at ‘De Fruitloods’, an on-site restaurant.
On The Rock
This restaurant, business venue and wedding location is located on the rocky banks of the Westeinderplassen in Aalsmeer. A beautiful location, to which the restaurant owes its name. On The Rock, the view and sunset are spectacular every season and especially lovely from the large waterfront terrace.

Papa’s Beach House
Escape the crowds at Papa’s Beach House, a special place in the middle of the Haarlemmermeerse forest. Have a special Papa's beer on the terrace, take a dip in the water or tell stories by the campfire. With loads of fish on the menu, this restaurant feels like a seaside holiday.

The old steam pumping station in Lijnden has been transformed into a culinary paradise, where industrial, modern and chic blend together perfectly. Restaurant ‘t Fort
Restaurant ‘t Fort is situated in the old Fort at Vijfhuizen, part of Amsterdam’s Defense line. It is an excellent place for lunch or dinner, all within the thick walls of a military monument. The restaurant also frequently hosts art expositions.
At the edge of Haarlemmermeerse Bos, there’s a little piece of Brazil. Barraca in Hoofddorp is a real churrascaria, where Passadores come by your table and cut fine pieces of meat on request. The restaurant serves vegetarian and vegan options as well, but it’s the carnivores that really feel at home here.
De Zuilen is a beautiful estate that boasts 3,500 square metres of groomed, walkable grounds and courtyards filled with Roman and Greek statues, fountains and columns, from which the estate gets its name. From 1 April to 31 May, De Zuilen’s gardens bloom with narcissus, hyacinths and tulips, the latter of which is cultivated by a tulip specialist from Lelystad. The restaurant, bar and sunny terrace are open from Friday to Monday.
Restaurant De Vier Seizoenen
As the restaurant’s name De Vier Seizoenen (The Four Seasons) suggests, it’s all about seasonal produce at Ton & Ellin Frerik’s place in Lisse. The menu (and wine list) changes four times a year and features French dishes with Oriental influences, alongside more traditional Dutch fare. And if that wasn’t enough, there’s also a special monthly menu and the Chef’s Menu, which changes daily.
