Restaurant De Vier Seizoenen
As the restaurant’s name (The Four Seasons) suggests, it’s all about seasonal produce at Ton & Ellin Frerik’s place in Lisse. The menu (and wine list) changes four times a year and features French dishes with Oriental influences, alongside more traditional Dutch fare. And if that wasn’t enough, there’s also a special monthly menu and the Chef’s Menu, which changes on a daily basis.
From mayor's residence to restaurant
De Vier Seasons is located in a 17th century building in the heart of Lisse and served as the mayor's residence until the end of the 19th century. After that it had many destinations. The main shape of the building has remained intact, the 'shop front' is typical of the style of the late 19th century. It is one of the most characteristic buildings on the Heereweg.
Above the restaurant are four rooms that serve as B&B, accessible via a separate entrance next to the restaurant. The restaurant is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, but breakfast is available on Tuesdays. On Mondays you can stay but not check in.
