In 1995, the De Boer brothers won the Champions League. In 2004, the Gebroeders Ko had a horn on their jet ski. And now we have the Maalderink brothers. Without a jet ski, but with a full-length show. Verbroedering is topical cabaret. About democracy under fire, the climate going to hell, and polarization that keeps increasing. How do we solve that? With hope or with pessimism? By adapting or by staying yourself? In short: with Roel or with Jos? For years they have been battling each other on TV in Plakshot, now they are taking each other on in the theater. And is that a good idea? De Volkskrant thought so: ‘A funny, very beautiful show.’ And well, if those De Boer brothers can win the cup with the big ears…
