Nachtburgemeester Verkiezing 2026

In November, Amsterdam will choose a new Nachtburgemeester. Almost four years after the appointment of Freek Wallagh as the representative of the night, it is time for a new appointment. During this election evening, the audience will be taken through the process that precedes the announcement of his successor. The finale? Dancing in Annie. During this evening, the jury will introduce themselves, the finalists will enter the arena, votes will be cast, and the votes will be counted. After the debate, when the city has spoken, the transfer of the chain of office will take place. During the after-party in Annie, the nachtridderschappen will also be awarded. More information about the elections can be found at nachtburgemeester.amsterdam. All parts of the programme are free to attend: for this night, everyone is on the list.
