In 2026, Wonderfeel returns to a stunning new location managed by Staatsbosbeheer (the Dutch Forestry Commission): the Groeneveld Estate in Baarn, just 12 kilometers from the familiar Schaep en Burgh and just as beautiful and verdant. Over four hundred top musicians will perform more than one hundred shows. Enjoy the wide range of performances: from baroque to minimal, from classical hits to brand-new notes, from solo to symphonic, with influences including jazz, pop, and non-Western music.
Groeneveld Castle in Baarn is an 18th-century country estate and one of the finest examples of a country house from that period. In the 17th century, merchants and regents visited country estates to escape the city. This was the place where people enjoyed the good life: peace, space, fresh air, nature, culture, good food, and good conversation.
In the late 18th and early 19th centuries, the park was transformed into the English landscape style. This style is recognizable by the water features, streams, winding paths, hills, groves of trees, and solitary trees. The park underwent a major restoration between 1976 and 1981.
And much more..
