As a festive conclusion to Liberation Day, the Concert on the Amstel will again take place on May, 5th, 2024. This concert is traditionally attended by the royal family and is free to everyone.
A Liberation Day tradition
You can read here which singers will festively close the National Liberation Celebration on May 5 and with which orchestra, as soon as it is known. The annual 5 May concert on the Amstel in Amsterdam this year was dominated by the theme of freedom. The theme for next year is not yet known.
