Kiki Ho

Siu Ki (Kiki) Ho is a Dutch-Indonesian audiovisual creator and filmmaker. In her work, Ho focuses on the elusive: themes such as connection, desire, and loss.

The Everyday

Where the Light Comes In – Days of Izyum has its origins in an experimental, essayistic documentary that Ho made in Eastern Ukraine during her work with NGO Insulate Ukraine. Instead of focusing on the war itself, the film focuses on the daily life that continues to unfold. Ordinary actions become proof of continuity. In the L6 Project Space, this research is continued spatially. Film, sound, poetry, music, objects, and architecture bring the everyday to the foreground.

The exhibition focuses on a universal question: what are the small, often invisible actions with which we hold a life together, and what do we discover about their value when they threaten to fall away?
