IJver

In a former shipbuilding hanger at NDSM-wharf, IJver combines industrial heritage (think eight-metre-high ceilings and burnt steel walls) with an 18-metre-long bar that has no less than 34 copper beer taps. The interior is warm and friendly comfy vintage leather couches, cool pendant lamps, and funky green and orange accents. When the weather is warm, the large indoor/outdoor terrace buzzes with life. Open for lunch, drinks and dinner, the Franco-Dutch menu features plenty of locally grown ingredients, much of it cooked on a charcoal grill.
