Saravá Samba Project - Roda de Samba
The eight-member Saravá Samba Project transforms the Terrace of the Muziekgebouw into a Brazilian dance floor. Samba is an ancient cultural heritage with deep roots, in which African rites and hymns have fused with Brazil's indigenous folk traditions. The audience forms a traditional roda de samba (samba circle), with the musicians in the center. This brings the exhilarating spectacle of layered rhythms very close. A terrace concert featuring samba in its purest form.
