A city full of queer places that is a logical host for World Pride 2026, but also a city that has lost its title as gay capital to other places.

12 Amsterdam LGBTQ+ people, born between 1954 and 2003, look back and look ahead. Those portrayed share their stories and how they experience being queer in Amsterdam in 2026. In times when the public debate is hardening, Queer Amsterdam hopes to bring softening through these personal portraits.
