Unique workshop with wonderful instruments

SoundLAB is located in a hidden corner of the Muziekgebouw. It is a laboratory featuring more than 100 interactive electronic and acoustic instruments, allowing you to gain experience with sound art, musical improvisation, electronic music, and composing through play and experimentation. The installations were designed and built specifically for SoundLAB by sound artists such as Yuri Landman and Akim Moiseenkov.

On a journey of discovery in a world of sound

Create your own soundscape with motion sensors or magnetic fields, or discover one of our unique synthesizers, all in an unconventional package. Every month there is a workshop where you embark on a journey of discovery together into a world of sound.
