Amsterdams Andalusisch Orkest + Mohamed Al Tayeb - Ghosts
A sneak preview of the new production 'Ghosts' on the terrace of the Muziekgebouw aan 't IJ. What happens when rituals lose their meaning, and how can we bring them back to life? That question underlies the new production 'Ghosts', with which the Amsterdam Andalusian Orchestra will tour this coming autumn. Together with Sudanese singer Mohamed Al Tayeb, the musicians of the AAO perform compositions in which both Arabo-Andalusian and Sudanese musical heritage resonate.
