Family concert (6+)

In the family Christmas concert The Nutcracker, the beloved Christmas fairy tale comes to life with music by Tchaikovsky. Writer Miriam Bouwens and director Yvonne van den Eerenbeemt give the classic a new look this morning. Why not replace a princess dress with a judo suit? What remains the same, however, is the timeless music of Tchaikovsky.

Tchaikovsky's The Nutcracker

When Ella wakes up in the middle of the night on Christmas Eve, the toys start dancing and the Nutcracker under the Christmas tree turns into a real prince, who takes her on an adventure where sweets come to life. Tchaikovsky's music is a succession of classic hits, featuring the famous 'Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy', the renowned 'Pas de deux', and the cheerful, enchanting 'March of the Tin Soldiers'.
