Architecture tours

architour has been organizing professional architecture tours in Amsterdam, Rotterdam and other cities since 2004. All tours are guided and designed by experienced architects.

architour organizes tailor-made group excursions to architecture and urban design, and gives a glimpse behind the scenes of Dutch design culture. All tours are led by experienced local architects. Urban designs and building concepts are explained in an entertaining and informative way. We also provide a lot of background information about architects, the development process and the urban context. architour maintains excellent relationships with the local architecture scene, universities and cultural institutions. We follow the latest developments closely and can give you the best recommendations for your study tour, field trip, incentive or teambuilding excursion. Talks

We offer lectures on various topics in English, German and Dutch. Lectures can be booked as part of a tour program or take place separately. Themes include "Amsterdam - City on the IJ", "Rotterdam: Modern Harbour City with History", "Sustainability: The Dutch Touch" and "Social Housing in the Netherlands".
