See art come to life in the largest immersive art centre in the Netherlands – Fabrique des Lumières – housed in the former 19th century gasworks in Westergas. In a large industrial space with walls up to 17 metres high, immersive exhibitions of classical, modern and contemporary artists are on display. Using advanced technology, the artworks are brought to life by 100+ state-of-the-art projectors and accompanying music.

To visit this location with your I amsterdam City Card, you can reserve a timed ticket here in advance. Depending on availability, tickets can also be purchased on site. Make sure your I amsterdam City Card is valid at the time of your visit.
From Vermeer to Van Gogh, Dutch Masters

This immersive exhibition takes you back to the 17th-century, the golden age of Dutch painters such as Vermeer and Rembrandt capturing the Dutch society with rough seas, scenes of faith and enchanting winter landscapes. In total, more than 325 artworks by some 50 different painters can be admired. Explore the reality of daily life, following the footsteps of the great masters who represented the ordinary in an extraordinary way.
