The story of Hotel Casa begins in 1957 with four friends and one dream: to create affordable housing for students in Amsterdam. One of those four has an extra special place in our hearts: Gabbe Scheltema. Founder of Casa, purebred Amsterdammer, our gap and was involved with Casa until the last moment.

Now, 64 years later, the hotel allows him to live in this green roof garden high above the city.

More than 30 local speciality beers

During the summer months, you can enjoy the roof terrace, coming home to your own garden. Where you wake up in the morning surrounded by birds, completely isolate yourself from the city or enjoy a sultry summer evening with pure and natural food. GAPP is open every day from 10:00 to 23:00. from April and during the summer months as long as it doesn't rain! If you want to ensure you don't end up in front of a closed door, keep an eye on the Facebook page for current opening hours.
