Jaap Eden ice rink
The Jaap Eden ice skating rink is Amsterdam's largest and best-known ice skating centre featuring an outdoor 400-metre rink (open October to March), an indoor rink, and a beginner's corner.
Where speedskaters still defy rain and wind
This large ice complex has a restaurant, perfect for a pit stop mid-skate, shower facilities and lockers. The Jaap Eden rink is home to the Amstel Tijgers professional ice hockey team, but also offers a wide variety of activities for the general public. Every Saturday evening sees Jaap Eden go disco with a fun evening on skates on offer.
Entrance: €4.70 (children under 16 years old), €7.80 (adults). Prices for skate hire start at €7 (remember to take valid ID with you).
