Beemster Visitor’s Centre

This information kiosk, housed inside a charming building located on the Middenweg in Middenbeemster, is a great place to begin a day spent exploring the surrounding municipality of Beemster. It offers booklets, pamphlets and maps that will help you organise your day, in addition to books about the area's history and culture.

Becoming familiar with the world heritage site De Beemster starts with a visit to the Beemster Visitor’s Centre. Here you will find all the information. There are books, pamphlets and (cycling) trails that take you past beautiful monuments and interesting attractions. You can also rent a bike at the visitor’s centre. Furthermore, you can book all sorts of fun and educational packages, but also nose quietly in historical books about De Beemster.

Beemster Visitor’s Centre Besides tourist information about De Beemster, visitors can also buy gifts, put together from various Beemster products, here. A selection of items in the range: books, gift cards, unique hand and tea towels, beakers. Drop in and buy an original gift. You can also book a package or group visit here. ‘Experience the Beemster’ a multi-media flight over De Beemster reclamation down the centuries, is certainly worth a (group) visit.
