The Uilenburgersjoel dates from 1766 and is therefore one of the few buildings remaining from the Jewish proletariat and the old Jewish quarter of Amsterdam. This national monument was built in the Louis XV style with elements of Jewish style. In 2015, the building was completely restored and returned to its former glory.
