The TOBACCO Theater and dares to undertake culturally and commercially! This inspiring and industrial location is located in the most famous theater street in Amsterdam, the Nes. A historic place where since 2010 culture and commerce meet and strengthen each other. TOBACCO Theater deliberately has no fixed programming. They want to offer a free stage to spontaneous and unique initiatives. As a result, they can often add shows to our program last minute, right in front of the competition. On the Nes 75 there is therefore plenty of room to express and experience chained, loose and unfulfillable creativity, especially in the short term. They are quite proud of it!

TOBACCO Theatre

TOBACCO Theater is a non-subsidized theater (read: they are nice and stubborn) that gives free space to cultural activities with a predilection for music and inspiring performances. And yes, that costs money. TOBACCO sincerely believes that this cultural investment has a commercial impact on the success of business activities in this location.

A former tobacco auction has been transformed into a modern, industrial theater and event location, with a great sense of detail and multi-functionality. TOBACCO Theater has a robust theater hall surrounded by eight completely different halls. An experience in itself!

Concerts

Culture simply costs money, of course they understand that like no other at TOBACCO. They do it every week. But they still want to spoil the city of Amsterdam with mainly musical performances that you cannot easily visit in other places. World music, Jazz & Soul are of paramount importance. But seizing unexpected opportunities at his cultural lure, that's where their creative passion lies!
