Brothers Nicolò and Simone Bottasso, known as the Bottasso duo, are the driving force behind this unique performance. They composed the music for fifteen silent films filmed in Italy at the beginning of the 20th century. In 2023, they traveled throughout Italy, searching for the locations from these old films. They recorded the sounds of contemporary Italy and incorporated them into their music.
