Michael Moore (clarinets, alto saxophone, and piano) and Jodi Gilbert (vocals) are Americans who have lived in Amsterdam for most of their lives. Throughout that time, they have been actively involved in the European jazz and improvisational music scene, both as performers and teachers. It's also notable that they have been together for over 50 years, and this is one of the rare occasions they perform as a duo, and they do so at Splendor.
