kins & Wires is a solo recital that explores the intersections between acoustic and electronic soundscapes. Drums, analog effects, and digital samples form a playful landscape in which rhythm, texture, and sound merge into a compelling musical language. Felix Schlarmann is a versatile drummer, composer, and organizer who is active at the forefront of the Dutch jazz and improvisation scene. With an open approach to sound, rhythm, and form, he moves effortlessly between acoustic and electronic worlds. In addition to his work as a sideman and bandleader, Felix wants to continue to develop as an independent creator, driven by a search for new musical languages in which texture, space, and energy are central.
