Flip Noorman - Bonobo - première in De Kleine Komedie

Alpha males beat their chests. The language of war. The law of the jungle. Sometimes we are gorillas. Chimps with drones. Great apes with machine guns. Or is there still hope? In the middle of the machinery of power, Flip Noorman searches for the pacifist sister of the human and the great ape. The Bonobo. The hippie ape. That solves conflicts with sex. That makes love and not war. In this new theatrical concert, Flip, assisted by the Noormannen (m/f), settles scores with the survival of the fittest. With full conviction, he sets up a peace-loving, empathetic world. Okay, he does fight, sometimes, but at most against a losing battle. With an arsenal of sharp songs. That are always on target. So powerfully beautiful, as a creator you would almost beat your chest about it.
