Fear Me

His dance is rooted in personal experiences and societal stories, never shying away from tough themes. This makes his performances powerful, raw, and straightforward. ‘Fear Me’ is about fear, that all-encompassing feeling that can completely take you over. About wanting to keep a grip when all the alarm bells in your body are going off. About thoughts that keep forcing themselves upon you and a system that is constantly on edge. Jansen shows the struggle for control, and the strength that arises when you keep moving, even when everything in you says you must stop. An actor and two dancers move between panic and hope, stillness and explosion, clutching tightly and letting go.
