S!rene: from online virality to the dance floor

S!rene is a Dutch DJ and producer with Nigerian roots. He moved up from sharp online DJ sets that garnered millions of views to large stages. His music spans global club, Afro influences, hip hop, funk, jungle, and R&B, but always sounds like a cohesive whole. Support from the Soulection community helped him build an international fanbase.

Sets that start easy and hit hard

As a DJ, S!rene builds his sets slowly. Lots of percussion, the right timing, and an eye for the energy in the room: that is his approach. The transitions are technically precise, making the transition between styles feel fluid. You notice the control, but also feel when he lets the dance floor erupt.

Debut album as a new chapter

With his debut album Silence Gives Life, S!rene shows that he has found his own sound in the studio as well. The album is layered and rhythmic, with attention to detail. It marks a new phase in his career: his studio work is now just as relevant as his performance on the dance floor.
