De Kroon Café Restaurant

The history of Café De Kroon (The Crown) goes back a long way. This cozy café opened in 1898. That also happens to be the year of the festive coronation of Queen Wilhelmina in Amsterdam. Now you understand where the name comes from! The cosiness, atmosphere, and design make De Kroon a great place for a snack and drink.

Dining, lounging and dancing

De Kroon serves fresh meat and fish, prepared in the famous 'Josper Grill'. The card offers something for everyone for an attractive price. In addition to the steakhouse, there is a lounge where you can enjoy a drink or cocktail and enjoy the beautiful view of Rembrandtplein.

The kitchen is open until midnight. Around this time, the lounge turns into a club and you can dance until the early morning. Enjoy the club night every Friday and Saturday night with top 40 music, popular music, EDM, and much more at De Kroon in Amsterdam.

New interior

The interior of De Kroon has recently been restyled. With different art styles and materials, the restaurant is a feast for the eyes. At the same time, a piece of nostalgia has been preserved by leaving the cabinet of curiosities above the bar in its original state.
