In the Tropenmuseum you will find amazing objects from all over the world, each with its own story. You will travel across the world and through time and encounter a wide range of cultures from the past and present. The Tropenmuseum is also open on Mondays during school holidays and on some public holidays.

Tropenmuseum Junior is especially for children from 6 to 13 years old and is known for the appealing museum concept: see, touch, experience and participate. When you step into Tropenmuseum Junior, you step into a different world. The subjects come to life and children actively participate in the exhibition. Everyone's curiosity is stimulated. You learn by doing.
