The WorldPride March not only showcases the beauty, diversity, and diversity of this community, but it's also a protest. It's also how we, as a community, make it clear to the world that others shouldn't tell us how to live.

Walking for those who cannot be openly who they want to be
We also march for those who cannot join us, and to make this visible, we carry the flags of countries where homosexuality is punishable under the criminal code. For this, we follow the ILGA list and also maintain contact with 76Crimes, an organization that monitors anti-gay legislation worldwide.
Difference between Pride March and WorldPride March
During the opening weekend on Saturday, July 25th, the Pride March will take place. Approximately 15,000 people will walk from Dam Square to Vondelpark, where Pride Park is located. Because of WorldPride and the participating international groups/prides, which will be present mainly during the last week, we will march again during the closing weekend.
The WorldPride March will be much bigger, and we'll also make it possible for trucks from various organizations to participate, with music, statements, and much more.
