Summer Dance Forever
Dance has become an integral part of our daily lives, thanks in part to the thousands of dance videos that are uploaded daily on TikTok. You can also see from the recurring annual festival Summer Dance Forever that the dance community is growing and finding its way to Amsterdam. The festival annually attracts more than 20,000 dancers and visitors from all over the world. Enjoy a broad program in Paradiso, OBA, International Theater Amsterdam, DeLaMar and the Academy of Theater & Dance. PLEASE NOTE: Listed dates and starting times for 2023 are subject to change
Top dancers from home and abroad
In addition to dance battles, there are workshops for both novice and advanced dancers and beautiful dance performances are on offer, with several European premieres such as the energetic, almost architectural piece 'Ghost', by the Canadian company Tentacle Tribe.
The moving dance performance 'Never 21' is also on the program - a tribute based on the testimonies of families of young victims of firearms.
