On Friday, February 27, 2026, Camping Zeeburg will be the venue for a special evening filled with stargazing! As part of the National Stargazing Days, the Volkssterrenwacht Amsterdam is hosting a stargazing evening at our campsite.
From 7:30 PM, telescopes will be ready to admire the starry sky. Weather permitting, there will be plenty to see, with the moon between First Quarter and Full, Jupiter high in the sky all evening, Uranus near the Pleiades, and a rich spring sky full of star clusters and nebulas, while galaxies will likely be drowned out by the moonlight.
To make the viewing experience extra special, the lampposts at the campsite will be turned off for the evening. And for those who want to warm up, our café will be open. Here you can enjoy a drink and a cozy fire.
