Logan Hicks presents an exhibition of new work that reflects a long-standing dialogue between the artist and the city of Amsterdam, which has shaped his work for years. Hicks has visited Amsterdam repeatedly throughout his career and developed a deep bond with the layered architecture, the rich history, and the enduring relationship with flowers—both as symbols of beauty and as markers of trade, labor, and time. In New Eyes / Old Hands, Hicks reinterprets these influences from a renewed perspective, combining a curiosity for discovery with the technical craftsmanship he has developed over decades.
