Water sports during WorldPride Amsterdam

The Sport Pride Watersport Festival takes place on the Sloterplas in Amsterdam. The festival is part of WorldPride Amsterdam and brings people together on and around the water. Everyone is welcome, from complete beginners to experienced water sports enthusiasts. Allies are also very welcome. You do need to be able to swim. Life jackets are available.

Activities on the water

You can choose from a sailing clinic, SUP yoga, pedal boating, or canoeing. On July 29, Ewout from Kanovereniging Sloterplas will be leading a special canoe clinic. You must register in advance for SUP yoga and the canoe clinic. For sailing, pedal boating, and other activities, sign up at the reception desk on the evening itself.

Program on the side

On July 22, the fantastic Miss Eiffel is organizing 3 rounds of Drag Queen Bingo, with prizes to be won. On July 29, DJ Robin S will provide the music. Café-restaurant Boothuis will be present for drinks and snacks.

Free participation thanks to Sport Pride Foundation

The water sports activities are free, thanks to the support of the Sport Pride Foundation. You order drinks yourself at the bar.
