Rembrandt paid attention to everyday moments and the various phases of life. This exhibition follows the path of life, from birth to old age. Here you can see over 50 prints from the permanent collection of the Rembrandt House Museum. In addition, there are two paintings by the master to admire.

Admire extraordinary works

In Rembrandt's Treasury, you can admire two paintings and a print. One of these masterpieces is the painting The Anatomy Lesson by Jan Deijman . This work was partially destroyed by a fire in the past, but the remaining central section remains impressive to behold.

Discover the technique, the feel, and Rembrandt’s experimental approach. An audio tour guides you step by step through Jan Deijman’s The Anatomy Lesson . Another painting, * Joseph Tells His Dreams *, shows Rembrandt’s sketchy approach. Compare it with the print on the same subject. In the drawing studio, you can get creative yourself and make your own artwork. This activity is free, always available, and suitable for everyone aged 6 and up.
