In August 2026, Amsterdam's largest open-air cinema returns to the atmospheric courtyard of the H'ART Museum for the 8th time. For three weeks, you can enjoy a selection of classic films, including an art film every Monday! Each film will be preceded by the legendary film quiz and a short introduction. PLEASE NOTE: The dates listed for 2026 are subject to change.

Cinematic summer evenings

August promises cinematic summer evenings, but ponchos are available in case of rain. All films have either Dutch or English subtitles. Keep an eye on the website for the 2026 program.

It's become a regular fixture: the large open-air cinema hosted by our partner, Outdoor Cinema, in the garden of the H'ART Museum. A summer film festival with thousands of film buffs. Art movies and classics on the big screen, popcorn, wine, and beer until the sun sets. Even a rain shower can't keep anyone away.
