Turning around by the campfire

Neighbourhood Workshop Noorderhof is a place shaped by local residents together. Since 2010, the location has grown into a vibrant community where people take responsibility for the place. The workshop is constantly evolving, and what is happening depends on the people who are active there at that moment.

During 24 Hours Nieuw-West, artists involved with the Buurtwerkplaats will give creative workshops and share their working methods. Later in the day, you can gather around the campfire and listen to the tunes from Buurtwerkplaatjes. It is a bring-your-own-vinyl night, so be sure to bring your favourite record and get behind the turntables yourself.

Everyone is welcome for an afternoon and evening full of experimentation, meeting, and creating together.

Collaboration with Blauwe Zone Festival

For this edition, 24 uur Nieuw-West is collaborating with Het Blauwe Zone Festival (information in Dutch language), a local arts and culture festival in Nieuw-West. Within the 24 uur Nieuw-West program, you will find approximately 20 activities from Het Blauwe Zone Festival. Additionally, you can find the full festival program with around 60 activities on the Het Blauwe Zone Festival website.
