Birds of Paradise in Sequins is a colorful and personal ode to flamboyant self-expression, identity, and craftsmanship. The handmade costumes, richly adorned with tens of thousands of sequins and beads, tell stories of freedom, pride, and connection. The exhibition also sheds light on their role as ambassadors of inclusivity, with special attention to Senior Pride and Culture Pride, and pays tribute to a life full of glitter and meaning.
